On February 24th, at 5am, we were awakened by our frightened and crying child. She says there are loud explosions, as if in a neighboring yard. I began to calm her down and say that someone must have thrown a firecracker. But 10 minutes later the explosions started again and then we realized that the war had started. When I looked out the window, I realized that people were fleeing the city, because at 5:30am we have never had such a traffic jam on the bridge. We simply could not believe that Kyiv was being attacked by Russian soldiers. I am a master who creates beauty for people to uplift them; I live now with my parents. Now I have neither a sewing machine nor materials to work with. I will stay in Ukraine. This is my land and this is my home. I hope that in the near future I will return home and be able to create new dolls for you again !!! Many thanks to caring people from all over the world for their help to Ukraine.
