At the beginning of the war, my family left Kyiv. We thought it would be safe there, but unfortunately, our village was affected by the war. We were almost without food, and were without communication, light, or heat for more than 10 days; there were 9 of us. We managed to leave at our own risk, lucky that the Russian military was just in another village at the time. We were accompanied by a 30-car convoy, we had white sheets on the cars with writing saying 'children'. We all survived. As far as I know, our house was shot, and our vehicles there were destroyed.
