I was working in my small home ceramic studio, in Kyiv on Podil, after hours when my son fell asleep. I had little time, but I wanted to live and convey a meditative state through work. Mandalas brought me to ceramics 7 years ago, when I started looking for a way to embody a picture in a material volume. I recently started making utensils for tea ceremonies, which I did before the war. Now my husband and two-year-old son and I have temporarily moved to Kamenets and are starting my business again.
