Elvira Baranetska

I am a very keen artist but beside that I worked as a Jewish non-formal educator for past 4 years. One of the main topics of our projects was the history of Shoah (Holocaust). There was great meetings, lessons, conferences and acquaintances, among us the words "Never again" were loudly spoken. Now I’m horrified by actions of people who declared that the horror of war must not be repeated. At the same time, I try to remember that during every catastrophe there are righteous people, and I hold on to the hope of a soon peace in which I have a place. Today my task is to survive and then proclaim the value of life, including through my art.
