My history of knitting began 8 years ago, when due to the invasion of eastern Ukraine, my family and I left our apartment in Luhansk. We moved first to our parents' in the territory controlled by Ukraine, and six months later to Kyiv. I returned to my hobby to relieve some tension. I learned to knit on a household machine. And then there were the first works I made for myself and friends, and then the first orders for customers. In 2021 I opened a workshop, and in December of that year we bought an apartment with a mortgage. It seemed that after eight years we were finally starting to live. Now my job is to buy food, pay taxes and utilities, and pay off a mortgage. I can't lose my home a second time! Therefore, we must win, each in their own war with fear and helplessness. Then Ukraine will win!
