Hi, I'm Julia - an independent artist and novice author. I write unique paintings, in a single copy, on various topics that are close to my heart. Many paintings are my memories, and many - the embodiment of dreams or fears. I was born and raised in Ukraine, where there are unique landscapes and rich folk culture; I love to paint my country's natural beauty. I see history in many things and I am creatively inspired every day.
Now we, Ukrainians, are going through a very difficult period - the war. The war that our grandparents told us about, the war that we were told about in history lessons, about the brave Cossacks and the strong-minded people who always repulsed all those who encroached on our lands. We grew up on these stories and we know what we are capable of. It will be the same now, we believe, as we are fighting, each on his own front. For us, however, the world is behind us. Glory to Ukraine!
