On February 21 and 22, my family and I were at a camp site in the suburbs of the small town of Severodonetsk, Luhansk region. And even though artillery fire could be heard even then, these were the last happy and carefree days in our family. On the 23rd we gathered our things to leave the city in the morning, but we didn't have time. In the morning the war came to our country.
We grabbed the essentials and rushed to my mother, in a quieter part of town, where there was food and shelter.
We didn't know yet that we would never return to our apartment...
