My name is Yuliia Petrenko. In 2014, I lost my grandmother's home and life. She was fatally wounded in the head by shrapnel from shelling in Donetsk. I was 19. I moved to Kyiv to continue my studies. My dad stayed there because of his beliefs. Here I was completely alone. 02/24/22 I woke up from the explosions, again. I worked as an advertiser in a security company, but as of today I have been left without a salary, because advertising during the war is not needed. I stopped talking to my dad because of his pro-Putin stance on the war. I was left without support. I rent a house with a dog, I have nowhere to run and I have no money for it. That's why I stay here. The savings I had are running out, and I'm looking to make money for rent and food in any way.
