We, Olya and Natella, are the owners of the ceramic workshop parasolya.cuteshop. Our workshop has a mini-production of our handmade ceramics, a studio where clay modeling classes are held and a very cozy tank. This project is our dream, which we are bringing to life, despite obstacles in the form of both standard business risks (investors changed their minds before signing the papers, a long search for the perfect premises, constant shortages) and unforeseen ones (COVID-19 and a full-scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine).
Creating products, expressing our emotions through clay into a product, helps us and our students to persevere and find strength for the daily fight for our freedom.
Our project is not only about ceramics, but also about friendship, support and environmental responsibility.
With the start of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, we finally filmed a 3-year-long planned series about Kyiv, opened a bar that created 4 additional jobs, shared our space with volunteers who needed storage, closed 3 meetings for military needs, and gave each a fixed amount of a day to donate to the collection, which is open to both military needs and to support people affected by war.
Among our products there are sensual, sarcastic, nostalgic products, we think that everyone will be able to find something for themselves and add more comfort to their home.
