Alina Konyk

I was born in 1996 and grew up in a provincial town of western Ukraine. During my growth, I've absorbed all the diversity and valuable experience of my ancestors, which has developed over more than one thousand years.
I put a part of myself into my art, and in the process of my artwork's creation I am inspired by ornaments from national clothes and household items. Also, Ukrainian traditions, literature and folklore in general have had a great influence on my work.

I’m a universal artist. This means that I’m working well with graphics and painting. I love large formats, experimenting with techniques and combining various materials.
